About Leadership Summit Scholarships

LeadingAge provides conference registration scholarships to:

• Increase the diversity of aging services professionals represented at LeadingAge conferences.
• Engage undergraduate and graduate students in the field of aging and expand the reach of meaningful education and professional development opportunities to the next generation of leaders in our sector.
• Eliminate barriers to provider member participation in LeadingAge conferences.*

* Need-based education discounts are also available for leadership programs and online learning.

Eligibility
Conference registration scholarships are available to individuals who meet one or more of the below eligibility requirements:
- Emerging, mid-level and senior leaders of color affiliated with a LeadingAge provider member who have not participated in a LeadingAge conference in the last three (3) years.
- Full-time college or university students over the age of 18 with priority given to those who have never participated in a LeadingAge conference.
- LeadingAge provider members unable to cover the full registration or participation fees and have not participated in a LeadingAge conference in the last three (3) years.
Selection Criteria
A limited number of conference registration scholarships will be awarded per event/program based on:
- Demonstrated financial need or hardship situation.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional (and personal) development.
Please Note: Conference registration scholarships are limited to individuals who have not received a scholarship in the last (2) years.
