Leaders of Color Network Forum – Why Diversity Matters!

Join the Leaders of Color Network Forum for an engaging session on the critical role of diversity in aging services organizations. This session will feature Soon Mee Kim, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at Omnicom Communications Consultancy Network, sharing her journey, importance of advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in leadership, and inspiration for leaders. The forum will also include a facilitated dialogue with attendees to discuss actionable strategies to grow and increase the diversity within the Leaders of Color Network. The dialogue will be led by Dr. Jennifer Maraña, Founder and CEO of Marana Consulting, a firm specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion consulting and training.

Leaders of Color Network Reception

LeadingAge will host a Leaders of Color Network Reception on Sunday, April 6, providing members with a valuable opportunity to connect, build relationships, and engage with peers. During the reception, LeadingAge staff will highlight two key workforce initiatives to strengthen the aging services sector: a fellowship pilot program to attract and develop new talent and a peer mentoring workshop series focused on retaining and supporting existing staff. The reception will also celebrate and recognize participants from these programs.
